This is a great link that explains the different types of tomatoes and how to grow them:
Tomatoes are fairly easy, they like a lot of sun . Water from the bottom so they don't get a fungus on the leaves. Many people bury egg shells or tums to boost them. Give them plenty of space and stake or cage them, because they will want to spread out.
The most important thing is to properly water and fertilize them. The are rather hardy and will grow in a variety of environments.
Growing Tomatoes in Containers
Hi Sue: Nothing like your own home grown tomatoes :) Here's what I do to get great tomatoes: I water them with 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt mixed in 4 cups of warm water. Then I spray it on the plant itself. I do it again 10 days later. This is good for peppers and roses, too:) Good luck
Hi Sue, hope this helps you grow lots of wonderful tomatoes.
