How do I dutch paint resin without a blow/heat gun??
Hii I have recently started doing resin art and I have seen these amazing videos using dirty pour and then the dutch technique by blowing with what looks like a professional blow/heat gun. I want to try this too but I don't have the gun. Can I use a dryer instead of it?

Yes you can. All you need is something that blows air. Blow dryer, air brush, vacuum cleaner blowing air instead of sucking.

Hello. I have used my embossing gun ( stamping) to help eliminate bubbles with resin pours.
Hello Sana,
Have fun!
Try using a Hairdryer instead of the heat gun!
Yeah, I would definitely get the heat gun. I think the hairdryer doesn't get as hot and can definitely be used to blow the resin around, but as for bubbles, you need to break those down to give that smooth as glass look. Do you have a blow torch because you could break the bubbles up that way as well? We redid our countertops using a resin pour and the blowtorch (or heathen) was a must for that.
Hi Sana. You could use a hair drier to move the resin around. You could blow thru a straw for small sections. Good luck Sana. Stay well.
You can try the hair dryer, but most likely that will not get hot enough. Heat guns aren't that expensive though - here is one for $20: https://amzn.to/3cRcaoY
I use a kitchen creme brule torch, very cheap. A hairdryer will move it around but I have found it is not very good to remove any bottle.
A hair dryer would work, but I would recommend buying a propane bottle and nozzle. They are cheap to buy and operate, plus they will make the air bubbles rise and pop better. I saw a video where they were doing deep pours and put the object in a pressure pot that got pressurized to about 45#. Check out www.wwgoa.com
