Hi Susan, you can likely create an anchor by using an old wire clothes hanger anf fashining it around a rock or perhaps even a ceramic plate or saucer, then having a wire stem into the ground. A plate or saucer will disperse some of the rain water away from your home. If you'd rather use bendable copper that could be extremely decorative. Get crative! Hope this helps with your achoring issue! :)
