Hi! I just saw your question and am not sure what type of pipe you are asking about. Generally I prefer spray paint for a pipe, but, I have used brush on paint when I had to work inside. Whatever type you use, make sur it will adhere to the type you are painting. Paint will list on the label if it is appropriate for metal, plastic, etc. Good luck and stay safe!
what is a surige pipe?
Depending on what the sewage pipe is made of, you could paint it or cover it with some vines to simulate wood.
Hi, you can spray paint the pipe with a dark brown paint and there is a tool you can get that mimics wood grain when pulled through the paint. It would give the paint a look of tree bark.
Here is some info for you and I believe you mean surge pipe -

I would use Rustoleum spray paint and draw vines while still wet. Most sewer pipes these days are pvc, but Rustoleum will will on plastic and metal.
Hello there,
You have to work like an Artist. Lay your base colour on and then build the colours to resemble the tree. I don't know of a WAY TO GET A REALISTIC LOOK BY JUST SPRAYING ONE PAINT!
Get some paint for plastic like Rustoleum or Krylone in 2 colors, and a wood graining tool to make the wood grain texture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIZZfzCVmLo
What about contact paper?
Hi Riaan. If you want to create a wood look you will need a wood grain tool. First paint a dark color. Wait for it to dry. Then paint a different dark color on top of that and, while this paint is still wet, you drag this tool while rocking it back and forth. It gives the look of wood grain. Home Depot sells this tool for approx $20.
Hello. I would spray a base coat and follow with layer thin washes over to imitate bark texture.
Home Depot sells a roller that when dunked in paint it looks like wood when rolled out
What is a surige pipe? Are you saying sewage pipe? If so what is it made of metal or plastic. Either way there is specific paint for either material. Ask at the paint counter.
