Can i drain a sink into a toilet vent?
I have an unfinished laundry room directly under my main bathroom. I want to add a toilet and sink to the room before I finish it. There is already plumbing set up for the toilet. My question is could I somehow convert that vent into a drain for the sink and add a new vent onto that? Thanks.

Only if you are planning on connecting it to your waste line. But, that's my opinion. It would probably be easier to just make a new line to connect. Waste water needs to leave your house via your sewer line. Venting removes sewer gas. Good luck and stay safe! Here's a tutorial that may help:

Hi there, yes you absolutely can do that. I would put in a sanitary T that continues up in the same size pipe as is already there (it will need to go outside for proper venting) and T's off to the left or right in 1 1/2" to your sink trap. If your new sink is going to be within just a few feet that vent will be sufficient.
Yes you can. You need to connect a sanitary tee inline the height of your sink drain. Then continue with PVC pipe up and out the roof.

Hello,
Yes, you can! Can't describe it better than the last two messages........
Yes! I would make sure you don't need permission from the city first though. I know we can't add a bathroom or anything "permanent" to our basement unless we get a permit.
Yes. The pic might help you visualize it
Thanks everyone for your answers. One more question about the vent. Can I connect it to the main stack vent in the attic instead of making a second hole in the roof without causing any issues?
Yes you absolutely can utilize the 2 inch toilet vent . it is called wet venting . install a 2"by 1/1/2" sanitary tee. Your 1"1/2 line serves as your lav. Drain
Of course that you can
I wanted to do the same with my house in Belgium until I found out that the sewage line was completely blocked. I had to call it off! The biggest problem with volume is not getting the same plumber service as you would usually do in the US. I had to move for an academic assignment in a university were renting a house was necessary. That being said I feel like you that I was able to find https://sosplomberie.be/debouchage-mons-sos-plomberie and an English speaker to help me explain my issue and get it resolved.
