Need to glue a round plastic reflector to a metal mailbox. Gorilla Glue didn’t work.
Super glue like Krazy glue should do it.
Loctite All Plastic Super Glue or Gorilla Glue Clear both work really well. We use the Loctite all the time.
Dorothy: I'm a big fan of Gorilla Super Glue Gel
I would try to determine if they are two different kinds of plastic.
Also some old plastic (like on my 1962 kitchen mixer project) are not going to bond with super glue, crazy glue and once the wrong glue is used, the project is often irreparably damaged.
Try a test spot.
Not a fan of Gorilla Glue. It expands when it is drying and does not make a surface to surface contact. Loctite makes good products. Super glue has NEVER worked on much of anything for me.
This chart might help. They rate Loctite best. https://cosyhousehold.com/best-glue-for-plastic/
Try Gorilla glue construction adhesive.
Liquid super glue for non porous surfaces and gel super glue for porous surfaces. I use Locktite. Not fond of Gorilla glue and cost tends to be higher for similar glues
Try E6000.
You get a glue called plasticfix which should work.
I always like E-6000 glue for that type of project. You will find it in the craft section of a store and also online. Good luck and stay safe!
Depends on what the application but E6000 or Loctite Power Grab have always dome well for me.
use e6000 or a high temp hot glue gun
Loctite Power grab is our glue of choice
it all depends what parts you are glueing but hot glue will for sure help
