Someone is nibbling on that pepper. Look for leaf footed bugs and their nymphs. Stink bugs can cause that type of damage, as well. An insecticidal soap should help, but needs to be reapplied after heavy rains. You can still eat it, no harm.

It looks like something has been chewing on it. You may want to put some netting around your plants.
I agree, it looks like some nibbling has been done
See if you can protect your plants from the mysterious nibbler with a screen or other protection, maybe putting the pots on a bench.
I wouldn’t worry about such small blemishes. Just wash well and cut off the spots. Still delicious. They look to be a lovely size and shape. The leaves are gorgeous. Must be doing something right.
Ground hogs munch on a lot of things. You can spray with a hot pepper spray. If something is chewing holes in your green peppers (Capsicum annuum), your veggies have likely attracted hungry caterpillars. Common worms in peppers include the tomato fruitworm, beet armyworm and yellow-striped armyworm. Recognizing and treating these pests promptly can help you save your green pepper crop.

Looks like your soil needs calcium. I take a soil sample in the spring before I till my garden. It tells me what amendments I need cost $20. I used powdered eggs shells for calcium. Dry shells for a few day put in a food processor it turns to dust pretty quickly. Then I put it in the soil when I plant and stir it into the top soil during the growing year. The best recycling is from your kitchen to the garden. Banana peels and broccoli for potassium. The best part no chemicals and it is really difficult to over feed with natural products.
Hello Nava, this just looks like scarring, either from the fruit rubbing up against the stem, or possibly birds trying a test bite. Safe to eat just looks ugly, you can trim that off
