Michelle: maybe this will help
Hi Michelle, I hope this helps! https://www.thegritandpolish.com/blog/diy-how-to-remove-stains-from-marble-surfaces-using-a-homemade-poultice Honed marble is SO beautiful!
You could try this, it sounds easy enough and materials you'll have around the house: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxRlg_OuhHU
Here is some info
Vinegar does the trick when it comes to removing hard-water stains, rust and brown spots -- all caused by forms of mineral deposits. Vinegar eats away at the materials, much like commercial products designed to remove calcium, lime and rust.
Cultured marble is hard to clean. You cannot use vinegar on it as it is an acid and will mar the marble.
Put on heavy-duty rubber cleaning gloves to protect your hands.¹Combine some powdered Iron Out with distilled water to make a paste. If you don’t have Iron Out, another acid-free multi-purpose rust stain remover that comes in a powder form can work.
Spread a ¼-inch thick layer of the paste over the stain. Only apply the paste on the stain, not on the surrounding areas.
Cover the paste with plastic wrap. Tape the edges of the plastic wrap down to help hold the moisture in.
Leave the poultice on the stain for 24 hours.
Remove only the tape and plastic wrap.
Allow the paste to dry completely.
Scrape the paste off the counter with a plastic scraper.
Wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove any residue from the paste.
Clean the area as you normally would.
Repeat the process as many times as needed. This may take several applications for the stain to be fully removed.
Hi! I use Bartender's friend on mine. Good luck and stay safe!
Try this it works for my daughter https://amzn.to/3jB6mDV
Do you have a water softener? If not, you may want to install on for future prevention of rust. Also repair any leaky faucets.
Hello. I might suggest barkeepers friend, its one of my all-time favorite stain removers.
Have you tried Iron out? It works amazingly well! https://amzn.to/2E5aITx
I tried Cerama Bryte on mine it worked great. It's like Bar Keepers Friend, but I think it's even more gentle...
Try to use a nail file and gently rub with the file to see if it comes off
Thanks all! I will look into the tips suggested. We do have a water softener
