How can you get a potato to grow into a plant?
I once did this by placing a half of a potato in a glass of water suspended with toothpicks, so it would not fall into the water. the cut side is up and the unpeeled side is in the water till it started to grow roots, Then I planted it in potting soil. Has anyone ever done this?

Good luck!
