Add a half cup to your regular liquid laundry detergent at the start of the wash cycle. If you use powdered detergent, add it during the rinse cycle.
Hi Beverly. Use 2 tablespoons of washing soda per gallon of warm water if pre-soaking in a small tub, or use a half cup of pre-soaking in a filled washing machine. Pre-soak for at least 30 minutes before washing. Wash with a half cup of washing soda in the wash cycle, in addition to your usual detergent.

I agree with the homemade oxiclean recipe!
I make my own oxi clean by combining equal parts or baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. This is a great solution for my shower curtain liner that can get crusty and brittle on the bottom. Just soak in the homemade oxi clean and wash as normal. You can dump everything into the washer too.
