As a temporary measure, purchase a silicone mat and put it over the entire top of the little oven. These are often sold as baking sheets, but can be used just as readily as countertop protectors, and can be cut with scissors to size.

You could try acetone, but I am no to sure if it will take the paint of the appliance. Maybe try a concealed area first.

Great suggestions from everyone. One more technique that might work is to very carefully scrape it with a single edge razor blade stood up on edge. You will need to use something to keep the area lubricated to reduce the chances of scratching (soap and water, WS-40, etc.). Definitely try it on an unseen area first such as the back or bottom.

I would and have used a flat blade razor paint scraper. The kind that you use on window panes to get old paint off when cleaning up paint. I have used it on my ceramic cook top without scratching it. You have to do it slowly. Also before doing that try a gentle abrasive like "Barkeeper Best Friend". I find that works the best and then try the razor blade. Best wishes and good luck.

This is probably another thing that won't work but when everything else fails, I get out the Awesome and spray it on, let it set and wipe it off. I purchase it at the Dollar Tree for $1.00. I would like to add though that your rotisserie is pretty dangerous if the top gets that HOT! If and when you replace it, check that out. In the meantime, if the Awesome doesn't work, I would paint it with some appliance paint. Good Luck!

Have you tried the works toilet bowl cleaner? Its a long shot along with a magic eraser but ya never know. Worst case scenario after serious scraping you can repaint the stove.

I know this may not seem strong enough, but I'd pour on a bunch of baking soda, mist it so it is damp, and let it sit for a few hours. I bet you'll be able to get a lot more off after that! It has cleaned anything cooked on the top of my stove - like miraculously so!

I would definitely try a Magic Eraser! That thing works wonders.

I would also try making a paste with boiling hot water and baking soda and lightly scrubbing it with a scrubbing sponge.

Acetone from Lowes or Home Depot not nail polish remover should work with a plastic scraper. You may have to cover the top with a silicone mat because anything you try will probably take the paint off the appliance. Rustoleum makes a high heat paint, but I think the mat would look better

If all else fails, you can sand it off and paint with appliance paint.

Take a potfuls with boiling water in it and keep passing it over the spot to loosen it and get a streight edge razor and hold it flat and try to get it off with the razor

I would just soak that with hot water and baking soda and gently remove it with Brillo

Have you tried magic eraser? I have had good luck with them.

You could try some Easy Off, see if that works.
