This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
I see what you mean.
What I would do is get a large tension rod and place it above the window in line with the corner where the faucets are.
Or, you could get a regular rod and mount it to where the studs are, going the length of the tub, and again above the window. In order to do this, you'd have to locate the studs before beginning and see if that would work.
I agree. A tension rod above the window. If the above the window is too high for a standard shower curtain I have two options. You can install some water pipe with a flange to the ceiling and down to the curtain level with an elbow for the curtain rod. Option two you can attach water pipe with a flange above the window dropped down at a 90 to the curtain level. Pipe comes in black or galvanized but it can be painted.

I found this shower rod on Amazon. It should work!

Thanks good ideas. 1 more thing wall color to go with the blue tile i like the color of this towel but i think it will be to dark with the blue and make the room smaller. What color do you think the room doesn't get a lot of light. Will take blinds down.
I would be window cling film on the window and remove the blinds. Then you could hang a curtain using a tension rod above the window frame. I used this (link below) in my bathroom on a window in similar placement. Put it up 2 years ago and it is still holding great. You can not see in or out, but you can see a blurred shadow if it is lit with this particular pattern.

This might work and it would look very nice. https://www.amazon.com/Bennington-Curtain-Mounted-Adjustable-Brushed/dp/B07BSNH339/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=shower+rods&qid=1604276429&s=home-garden&sr=1-16
I’d go with window film if it’s privacy you’re seeking.
I have a window in my old 40s home and use window privacy film, and here is a rod that would work.... https://www.amazon.com/PrettyHome-Curtain-Bathroom-Clawfoot-Standing/dp/B07WTCWP5W/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3PSP9H4IE9Q9T&dchild=1&keywords=tub+shower+rod&qid=1604284713&s=home-garden&sprefix=tub+shower+rod%2Cgarden%2C1529&sr=1-2
If there is no shower, you should not need to hang a shower curtain. You can hang one using a tension rod.
I don't quite understand why if there is no shower, just a tub, you are wanting to hang a shower curtain?
Are you wanting more privacy for the person using the tub, or are you wanting to replace the broken blind in the window with some other window covering that offers privacy?
Tension rod-replace the blinds, done!
So we have the same situation in our house and we bought a track on the ceiling (like in hospitals). The track is curved so it comes right before the window. I can take a pic if you want. The nice thing about the curved hospital tracks are that you can make them curve wherever it needs to go on the ceiling. In 15 years, it never has rusted either. Pretty good. But if this is just a tub without any shower capability, I wouldn't even bother. I would just use film over the window and a shade.
Hello. Have you considered putting up a privacy film on your bathroom window? We recently did that one roll of film and we were able to put it up on three different bathroom windows. That way you won’t have to worry about the blinds or curtains and have your privacy. It might help solve the problem with the shower curtain rod
Hello, how about one of those ones that mount on the ceiling for clawfoot tubs? Or a free form one? https://www.amazon.ca/Bendable-Shower-Curtain-Free-Form-Ceiling/dp/B0037JS2AQ/ref=asc_df_B0037JS2AQ/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292982341919&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7907356363788879601&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001397&hvtargid=pla-309396709827&psc=1
I would put in a high tension rod or a shower curtain rod with flanges. The big secret here is to get very long drapes, and use them as a shower curtain. Make sure you put in a plastic liner in back of the curtain. Ikea has great drapes/curtains. You can sew them together or leave them in 2 pieces. The high curtain makes the bathroom look larger.
You could buy an extra long shower curtain and use a tension rod. That's what we did.
They make wooden shower curtain rods that have a support that screws into the wall. They are round and have a lip on the bottom to keep the rod in place, and you can lift the rod off the top. Only two screws to install and very strong.
Hello there,
You can buy a circular shower curtain frame to fix to the wall which will mean you should not get the window area wet!
You have to buy a shower curtain rod. or a stand up shower curtain shower rod.
I would get a standing shower curtain, it does not have to be against a wall. its a unit that is places with in the shower stall.
I'd get a tension rod shower rod to hold up the curtain.
I would get a ceiling mounted circular one...so charming and it would solve the privacy issue as well.
