Hi Tessa, hope this helps you out, Vinegar and isopropyl alcohol The best way to remove silicone caulk short of using a digestant is to treat it with a silicone sealant remover, WD-40, vinegar or alcohol, wait for it to soften and then attack it with a knife or paint scraper
Acetone will also take of silicone. The kind you get in the hardware store, not nail polish remover.
Silicone to silicone requires a release-agent. 2 parts alcohol to 1 part dish soap is recommended. If you didn't do that first, give it a try for releasing the stuck-on silicone.
