You could use a flat beading or use Gaffer tape to cover in matching colour (If it stands out too much) repeat with more Gaffer tape (Make a pattern over the floor as much or as little as required). Frog tape is also good! Best wishes

Is your problem with tiles or a seam in the sheet? More information might get the best response or solution being offered.
Hi Mary, do you know whether the vinyls tiles have been glued down or whether the click together?
You can get a seam sealing kit. Check at your local home improvement store.
It is hard to fix because it may swell when it is warm and humid and separate again when it is cold and dry. I would contact a wood flooring expert.
Is it sheet or planks?
For sheet, you will have to get a machine that is basically an iron that is used for sealing seams.
