You can completely eliminate it but you can definitely reduce it by making sure doors and windows are properly sealed and there are no gaps. If you can see light, dust is coming in. Keep your filters on HVAC changed monthly. Damp mop, sealed vacuum, or damp microfiber instead of sweeping floors. Use microfiber dusters that grab and spritz with a tiny amount of water when you dust. Humidifier will also help to reduce dust but you may have moisture issues.

To help keep dust down investing in good indoor and outdoor rugs can help a lot. After that always taking your shoes off at the door is a good rule to have.
Grandma offered excellent advice. Chaging the intake air filters (if you have them) is a great place to start.
Micro fiber cloths that are moistened to dust, vacuum. Have you considered and air purifier with a Hepa filter. Do you have a pet(s), they might be contributing dander.
Depending on where you live, your home might be quite dry in these winter months. Get a good humidifier that you clean regularly (to avoid other allergens possibly emitting) that will help keep dust down by adding moisture to the air in your space.
Make sure you have a carpet outside of entrance and inside as well then wash every week. Have you vacuumed your vents? I also use vent dust catchers. Is there anyway to see if owner changes furnace vents and what quality they are? You may find that it's an issue. But vacuum vents once a well after you dust with damp towel to not ruin wood furniture. Then vacuum even floors that don't have carpet.
Try "wet" dusting. I live in a very dusty arid climate. Plus I love the windows and doors open any chance I get, and I have a bunch of pets. That's what works best for me. Change any HVAC filters monthly. If you can, get rid of wall to wall carpet and replace with wood, laminate, vinyl, anything that cleans easy and use easy to clean area rugs instead. Lots of great suggestions here, sure you will find a combination that will work for you.
Hello,
Impossible to do as we all loose skin everyday, even if the home is airtight!
You can never totally eliminate dust but a couple things that help are: 1) use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter weekly, 2) use an air cleaner with negative ion to again remove dust from the air, 3) brush and comb your pet frequently, 4) wash furnishing soft surfaces like furniture upholstery and drapes 2x a year, 5) use a carpet cleaner on rugs 2x a year, 6) dust surfaces using a damp rag or wet wipes to remove dust, 7) change your furnace filter 1-2x annually.
Hello Mar. One way that will help reduce dust is to replace the filters in your H/Vac system. Also an air purifier will work well too. Good luck Mar.
We use this spray in conjunction with our swiffer and in addition to be a great duster spray, it helps to keep spiders and other buggies at a minimum.
Hope this helps!
Hugs, Holly

Depends what is is causing it. Keep the doors and windows shut, get an air filter and clean regularly
Hello. Changing your HVAC filters on a regular schedule, dusting and vacuuming are some ways to help control dust. I am not sure the word eliminate can be realistically accomplished but regular scheduled control measures should help.
That's a tough one, but as someone who has dust allergies I find that good air purifier with a HEPA filter works wonders. I would check out the filter prices before you buy though. Some replacements can be very, very pricey!
