How do I find Drexel Heritage furniture?
I have the Drexel Heritage French Countryside bedroom collection. We bought it YEARS ago, before children. We would like to upgrade the queen size bed to a king, but I'm not having any luck finding one. Ideas?

Hi Kristin, Have you tried the usuals... Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, Craigs List, Ebay? You could also try googling what you are looking for and you just might luck out and find an antique type store that is selling one online.
I would add the website Charish to the list above. This place also might be a source: https://highendusedfurniture.com/product-category/drexel-heritage/

I would Google search the name and model # of the bed, and if it is available it will probably be one of the discount furniture stores that sell discontinued furniture. https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=Drexel+Heritage+French+Countryside+kingsize+bed&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
Ebay is another source for finding out of stock furniture.
If you can't find one, maybe you could get one custom made to look how you want it. Not sure where you live, but the amish wordworking community is a great place to start for a reasonable price.
I googled Drexel Heritage furniture and was brought to a website called Lenoir Empire Furniture which states Drexel furniture is still made to order and made to last. If you cannot find what you want, just get a bed that goes with your set. Many headboards go with all kinds of sets.
Hello. We have purchased some wonderful Drexel furniture on Craigslist.
Try eBay?
Since the difference is 16" width, if you don't find one you could try mounting the headboard to the wall and split the 8" difference on each side. If it looks odd, add a decorative post on each side that you paint to match.
I gave up on bed frames years ago and I have all our beds free standing with a faux headboard on the wall by using decor.
There seems to be several sites offering Drexel furniture. Here is one you can take a look at. Good luck with your search.
