STAINED GLASS so easy
No that will melt it down. You need to solder it with lead
Hi! Hope this helps:

No, your stained glass will be cured when the soldering and paint are completely dry. No need for a kiln.
Hi Dora, no you don't. If you're using stained glass paint it will dry naturally without you having to cure it at high temperatures.
No. If you're using glass paint, it will dry on its own.
Stained glass paint is just that...paint. Stained glass is made from melting glass and adding color to it as it is made in the factory.
Here's a post that might help https://churchwindowrestoration.com/why
I'm confused. Are you somehow painting or staining glass and want to preserve the color not to come off?
Hi Dora, I do stained glass and I am confused to what you are asking. First and foremost, are you talking about paint on glass? If so, what are you trying to do? Make the paint waterproof and not come off when you wash it?
Or are you talking about cutting stained glass pieces and soldering them together which is a whole other craft in itself?
If you are painting it, there are craft paints that you can put in the oven so it can be semi-permanent. For example, check out this project:
https://www.hometalk.com/diy/craft/holiday-crafts/painting-glasses-with-glass-paint-39422115
There are also paint stains: pebeo vitrea 160 glass paint (available on amazon). This also is dishwasher safe and can be baked.
And finally when you really get into painting glass, there are paints that are painted on glass that are then fired in a kiln. This paint will never come off. These paints are sold at stained glass stores and online.
As for cutting pieces of stained glass and soldering them together( Stained glass crafting), you might want to take a class because it is pretty involved. There are many books on the craft as well because there are so many different styles, methods and techniques. I hope I answered your question well. Good luck!
Painting Glasses With Glass Paint
Hello if you were doing this in a crafting application refer to your paper product for proper cure. In my case when I painted Mason jar mugs they did go into an oven at a specific temperature for a specific amount of time.
