How to Decorate With Greeting Cards
I put mine in a binder so that I can read them. My daughter always writes beautiful messages on hers. But I like the idea of decoupage. I think a coffee table would be cool. Larger surface so you could put several on it.
Hello Paula,
Make a Dressing screen or buy one and cover that! Cover an old piece of furniture that has lost it's punch! Cover the top of a Coffee Table, Ottoman Blanket Box. A Mirror Frame, Picture Frame. Dining table and the backs of dining chairs. A Memory Box or Chest. Hope that Helps.
What about a gallery frame? Then you can display them - maybe by season? eg. Christmas If you frame them you will still have any messages that people wrote on them for you. :)
you could buy a tray at the dollar store or even thrift store and then decopodge the cards over that and then cover with clear lacquer and it will protect it - https://kaufmanlumber.com/4-creative-ways-to-make-sentimental-home-decor-fit-your-personal-style/

Here's a post that might help https://unclutteredsimplicity.com/used-cards-decluttering-greeting-cards/
You could create a scrapbook for them, or make a collage.
Hello. I think sometimes combining papers in an altered book can be an interesting craft. I have even taken children’s cardboard books and painted them and apply different papers photographs and stickers in them.
I would suggest that you first glean through your collection and keep only those cards that still have positive feelings associated with them.
Any extras can be given to Treasures 4 Teachers. This is an organization that accepts donations of arts and crafts supplies, and any other materials that could be used in schools.
T4T then makes them available to individual teachers in need of resources for their classrooms. More often than not, there is just no money in the budget for these types of materials.

You could esily decoupage the cards onto a coffee table, trunk, or similar piece of furniture making the piece quite attractive and memorable to you.
I have 3 ring binders with them labeled for friends and family,. I opened them and punched holes in one side and most fit like that. You could use them for Christmas garland around the house by attaching them with tape to drape over doors each year, or draped from the fireplace or staircase.
Hi Paula, you can display them in a large frame and by overlapping them you can fit several into the frame. Also here is a link to check out some more ideas
