How to advertise a Garage Sale to appeal to crafters?
I’m from the era of China, Silver, Crystal, kitchen ware, cutlery, linens.....and have loads of it. Downsizing is necessary at my age. I see many tutorials on mosaics made from broken china, distressing silver trays, bird feeders and yard art from cups, dishes, pitchers, throw pillows out of linens, etc. etc.
Is there a particular way to advertise a “Garage Sale” that would appeal to DIYers and Crafters.

Here is some info Barbara;
I have had tons of yard sales and now I advertise on nextdoor.com you may have this in your area and also on online yard sales found on facebook for your area. You can showcase certain items or tell about the craft items you have, etc.
Here is a list of items that sell easily, if you have some of them:

Sounds like you have a really good idea for a garage sale, for crafters and DIY folks.
How about an add in a local paper with just that idea: attention diy'ers and crafters, the items you need are at my garage sale, date(s) and address. A sign at the end of your street with balloons. Maybe team up with a few neighbors and have a community garage sale.
You could place a post in several grocery stores, Also you could advertise online in local or neighborhood communications, we have one call Neighborhood Dispatch, people advertise there for free.
You might want to consider consignment or and estate sale. Have you considered an auction? As a resort, consider hiring a professional to price and help sell your items, they would take a commission, yet they know how to appeal to different kinds of special interest groups you have interest in.
There is an online group called EBTH-Everything But The House, they might have a lead for you.
Best to you.
Advertise as a sale for crafters, recyclers/upcyclers, DIYers and list what you have. They will come!
I would take out an online ad with a few places and maybe even pin something up at the local grocery store if they have a pinboard. I'd also put signs out on the street promoting it.
Generally, diy-ers and crafters are very open to garage sales and make the rounds whenever they see an ad. If you list the items, the crafters will come to see what you have to offer. Have fun with it. Plenty of signs (if allowed) and I've found that if you have some music going it adds a party vibe and everyone is more relaxed about making offers and dealing with you.

Hello. I would mention theses key words in Craigslist or FB marketplace advertising.
Hello, Put up a notice saying if you like nice things or feel a but crafty, this is for you!
Mind you, If you just put up a notice saying Garage Sale, you will have to stop the stampede! We are in Lockdown in the UK! Nobody going anywhere at the moment!
I would post on Facebook Marketplace and Nextdoor.com
You could place flyers in crafting stores or run ads on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. People who are searching specifically for the types of things you’re offering will find you, just use lots of crafting terms in your ads.
