Stir alginate with water in a 1-to-1 ratio, nearly filling the 2-quart container. Position hand how you would like it to be cast (if you want the sculpture to function as a candleholder, hold a candle in your hand, keeping it straight; then carefully remove candle), and insert hand into alginate mixture. Or IY Hand Molds 1 cup flour 1 cup salt 1/2 cup water for each mold Mix ingredients & shape into a ball. Use a rolling pin to flatten & shape the mold. You can use foil or a tin pan for the mold. Have you little one press their hand into the mold.

I understand that sometimes if you search on Google for the Hometalk project you’re looking for, it’ll pop up that way. Otherwise the search bar at the top left should return several tutorials.
Hello. Was this a Hometalk Post that you previously viewed? If you ever want to go back to see a particular project, just click on the little blue house at the top of this page, left-hand corner. If you can't find a particular project, you can use the search bar. Also, please consider checking out "Explore Projects" for even more additional ideas.
Hope this helps.
I got a kit for this at walmart one year
