How can I repair wood floors with an oil stain?

I agree you will need to refinish that spot. I would do a little light sanding and then restain and cover with seallant.

It has probably removed some of the finish on the floor. Hopefully it isn't too deep and you can sand the area, stain, and refinish.
Acetone took off the varnish. Lightly sand, clean up the dust and then get a stain to match.

I would try sanding it out then finish to match the existing....
Maybe sand it a bit and try to refinish with the same stain
