Hi Joellen, apply some white vinegar directly to a microfiber cloth or put some in a spray bottle a spritz to on the handprint. Let sit for just a moment, and then wipe clean in the direction of the grain
We use Weimans polish. There are pledge multiuse spray waxes rated for use too.
Check with the manufacturer of your refrigerator for what they recommend.
I wipe with microfiber dish cloth after doing dishes and dry with a towel. I have no idea why everyone thinks you need a different cleaner for everything in your home. Less is more.
I wipe mine with the dish rag to remove dirt (I use blue Dawn soapy water) then dry with a micro fiber I picked up at the Dollar Tree. They are fantastic for making it streak free.

Warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth. Dry with a clean dry rag.

I would try these products from off of Amazon - Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner Kit - Fingerprint Resistant, Removes Residue, Water Marks and Grease from Appliances - Works Great on Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Ovens, and Grills
I just add a few drops of Dawn to a spray bottle and fill the rest of way with water. Spray on lightly (not heavy so it runs down the appliance) and use a microfiber cloth to wipe clean.
Hi! I wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and then buff with a dry one. Good luck!
A moist cloth wipe and then dry well with a clean cloth will work well. The drying part is essential!

I would wipe it with a damp microfiber cloth! They work amazingly well!
Hand oils won’t dissolve with water.
If you use water, then add a little soap.
I would use alcohol, since my “stainless steel” fridge wasn’t high grade stainless and had tiny rust dots after 10 years.
apply some white vinegar straightforwardly to a microfiber material or put some in a shower bottle a spritz to on the imprint. Let sit for one minute, and afterward clean off toward the grain
