Stuff to hang plant
I don't know how to explain it but I am trying to hang my plastic hanging pots outside, like I do every year. But somehow I lost the rope or chains that you attach to the planter pot & then hang them.Anyone know where I can find the tie things to hang the pots? I'm also looking for extra plastic hanging pots. I can't find any at a good price. Walmart had 1 pot for almost $7.00 ! Yes, I'm cheap, lol. TYE 1

Hello Madelne, you can usually find small gauge chain at a hardware store to replace the ones you've lost . Another easy way to hang plants and customize the length is to make your own hangers from jute rope. Here's a video thst shows just how easy it is to do and very inexpensive!
Hope this helps you solve your problem.

And here are some small plastic hanging pots - way cheaper than Walmart! https://amzn.to/3wcU4rY
I would check amazon
Check the dollar store. Our local Dollar Tree has some things that might work for that
amazon.com has them (chains and ropes) for descent prices I have bought them there
I think I’ve seen what you’re looking for at the dollar store. :)
The Dollar Tree had some last week and I found GREAT pots at my local Aldi.
Agree with above Dollar tree-for chains and Walmart for pots.
Additionally some very nice higher quality planters can be found at the thrift store. I spray painted some mismatched ones to unite them cohesively
Last week I saw about 50 plastic pots at my local Goodwill. They were selling for a quarter each. Check out any local animal rescue shops also. If they have a store that sells gently used items perhaps you could just call and ask them.
Chain can be purchased at a hardware store or a big box store. They will cut it in the length you want. You can also buy a roll of jute and DIY your length. That will be more cost effective than replacing the chain but won't last year over year.
Pots, check Dollar General. They will run them BOGO quite often for less. You can also hit the thrift stores for unusual items that can be turned into hanging planters. I've seen people use colanders and hanging fruit baskets.
I found these amazing plant hangers at the dollar store for $1! - I used them for solar lights but they should work just fine for what you're using them for: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/lights/hanging-solar-light-using-glass-bowl-shades-and-dollar-store-items-37141652

Hello,
Garden Centres or craft shop, depending on if you want chains or cord. If you are looking for the plastic type holders, you may have to buy a new pot!
You could try a Habitat ReStore or thrift store for more pots. Any kind of chain or sturdier rope can be used as a replacement to hang pots. Home improvement stores sell the chain by the foot.
If you do get some used pots wash them out with a bleach water solution to kill anything bad that might be on them. Rinse them off and let them dry before using.
You can get more chains at Dollar Tree
The DollarTree has plastic pots and also the hangers and chains for hanging pots. If you don't have a store you can look to see what they have on line
DollarTree.com That's as inexpensive as you can get them!
