Hi Peggy
Why not add some plants (silk) or other decor that you see instead?
here is some more info for you https://www.google.com/search?sa=X&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS879US879&biw=1600&bih=757&q=How+can+I+decorate+the+top+of+my+entertainment+center%3F&ved=2ahUKEwiL8sOqq9bvAhVbZc0KHbL4APMQzmd6BAgWEAs
Could you paint it? Maybe the wall color to draw less attention to it?
Purchase a pretty fabric that coordinates well with your loft decor and place it on the top of the entertainment center in such a way that it remains unseen except from the loft area. If (when) it gathers some dust, simply remove and launder and replace.
I would cover it with fabric - like a dresser scarf!
Great ideas everyone. I will check them out. Thank you.
I would make it feel intentional and maybe add a visually interesting top IE: tiles, wood in a pattern and then style it.
Fake plants would be a great option!
Maybe paint it a fun color and add some seasonal touches
How much length is there from the top of the dresser to the ceiling?

Here are a couple of examples:
Why not do something cute and draw attention to it. Paint a checker board on top. Or pod modge a map to the top. Even some words stenciled up there. I have the words "the laundry room drop your pants here" next to the washing machine in the utility room.
Hello, I was thinking you could put a nice looking runner with some faux vines on top of the cabinet, something like the picture attached
Hi,
Fit a board on top and use it as a Canvas for Art or Use a Mirror.
