How to convert giant closet doors into bifold doors?
my bedroom closet has 2 giant doors that are constantly in the way. I can not open my closet door with my bedroom door open, they smack into each other. I can't put anything next to the doors, then I can't open the doors.

What are they made of??? if they are solid wood you could cut them down, and insert hinges to re-hang them as bi-fold doors. or you might consider making them hanging barn doors. It’s possible, but it may not be easy. If your doors are solid wood it may be not too bad to do. I would
check your local reuse building center, like the Restore. And see if they have the right size bifolds there. That would save a lot of headaches and not cost too much.
Hello. Unless you have a craftsman in residence and all the professional power tools purchasing a replacement option might be considered. Here are some different types of closet doors that might be more functional for your situation.

If you have the room on each side of the doors you can go with barn doors

Most closet doors aren't solid wood or they're not wood at all, so cutting them and attaching hinges might not work. You might be better off purchasing bifold doors off the shelf or replacing the doors with a curtain that slides out of the way.
Hi Sharon
Here is info on a pivot door that will take up less space but also a barn door will do the same thing

You could swap it for a sliding door
I agree with Lindsay's suggestion to replace with sliding doors instead of bifold doors, as sliding doors require the least amount of floor space.
Once you take down existing doors and hardware, add a track across the top of the opening for bifold doors.
I think every interior door in this house are hollow and made of cardboard! There is no room to hang barn doors unless I do a double track. I don't have funds for anything new, so I guess I can go with curtains, well sheets...Thanks for all the suggestions, I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond,
If there's no room, removing the closet door and replacing it with a curtain is likely the easiest route. You can replace it with a bifold though that's more complicated, especially if the doors are giant as you say. You can fashion your own double track; some online research should turn up ideas.
You would put two hinges in the ends to cone t them to bend
I would definitely suggest to switch it up to a sliding door.
