I love this shoe cabinet. It’s right inside my entryway and it’s the perfect size.

The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s white.

I am a color lover and I wanted it to feel more boho.

So with zero intention I accidentally spent part of the day spontaneously making this piece flow better. That’s the life of a creative!

I used a peel and stick wallpaper on the faces of the drawers. Starting at the top and working my way down evenly to prevent air bubbles. You can use a credit card to keep smoothing it out.

Here I am matching up the seams.

Now what to do about knobs?

Some may call me cheap buuuut I had some geometric knobs I liked the size of but the pattern was too busy to go with the wallpaper print.

I knew some rattan knobs would be cool and I just so happen to have a few rattan napkin rings I thrifted.

I cut the napkin ring to lay flat and traced the knob with a pen and then cut it out with scissors.

I then hot glued the rattan onto the fronts.

Walla!

Rattan knobs

And there you have it!
