Kitchen Face-lift on a budget
by
Ginger A
(IC: homeowner)
We have a large kitchen that was awful when I moved in. It was harsh, and cavernous, echoed and cold feeling. Just down right old. My goal was to warm it up, bring the ceiling down, make it homey and comfortable. We spent under 3500.00 including decor. We did the work ourselves saving a bunch of labor costs. Installing the tile backsplash, crown molding, painting cabinets, replacing hinges and hardware. Lighting just repair work. It took some time, but doing it ourselves has left us feeling very accomplished. I hope you like the change a little money and a lot of work created!

Sharron W on Aug 15, 2012I love teh new eating area especially and the little entry table you used at the end of the Island was genius to soften up the hard edges, i always love the use of yellow in a kitchen and you made a dramatic difference in yours! I know it's a space you'll enjoy for many years!
