DIY Desk Pad Under $7

I love having my desk are reflect my personality and love to keep things fresh and crisp. I have a solid black desk that works for me but the desk top is always so plain that it gets boring. I took a clear desk pad from ikea and some of my favorite wrapping paper and turned it into a beautiful mat for my desk. Best of all when I’m doing my writing, silhouette projects, cricut projects and more, my desk top is protected from scratches which is so important. This project took a total of 5 minutes and cost under $7.00, talk about an awesome DIY project!
Supplies Needed:

Clear Ikea Desk Pad – $5.99

Elmer’s Adhesive Spray Glue

Patterned Wrapping Paper
Roll out your favorite wrapping paper print on the floor or a table pattern side up.
Turn your clear desk pad over to the smooth side and spray a generous amount of Elmer’s Adhesive Spray Glue onto the entire mat.

Turn your mat over and lay on top of your wrapping paper towards the edge so you have smooth lines. Press down firmly.
Now all you have to do is trim around the clear mat and place on your desk for an instant decorative pop.

Best of all once you’re tired of the print you can easily peel the paper off and do it all over again!
