Serving in Style

Needed to find a serving tray for my husbands new bar cart I upcycled for him and found this simple tray in a thrift store for $3.
The before. Simple wood nd melamine tray with legs.
Painted it a teal green by making my own chalk paint from Lowes lovely sample selections. I then painted the background an antique white with some left over chalk paint I already had on hand. Next I had a stencil from Joann's I have been wanting to use and my husband picked it out so I traced the stencil then filled in the design with acrylic paints. I had a flowers stencil and added the flower effects using a silver and black paint pen.
Works out great with his new upcycled bar cart.
