Hello Spring! Kelly Green and Coral Midcentury Makeover

This midcentury desk was a lucky Craigslist find. The design is beautiful and it was in great shape - it just needed a makeover. A few weeks later I found the lone chair at Goodwill and thought it would make a perfect mate for the desk.
Here is how the desk looked before the makeover.
And here is the chair. I love the pretty bow ties on the chair back.
I painted the desk with Benjamin Moore Advance paint in Clover Green. The chair got primed and spray painted with Valspar white lacquer. I used this spray paint on my dining chairs a couple of years ago and it has held up well to daily use.
I shined up the original hardware to its brassy loveliness.
The chair was recovered in a bold coral and white fabric. I am loving kelly green and coral for spring (or any time for that matter!).
