Industrial Chalkboard Wall for the Kitchen

This isn't a new idea by any means, but I love chalkboard walls and wanted to share an industrial one that we added to our home.
While repainting our kitchen, my husband and I thought this wall would be the perfect spot to add a fun chalkboard wall.
We simply used a few coats of Rust-Oleum black chalkboard paint. We let it cure for a few days before making any kind of design on it.
Once we were good to go, I found some cute kitchen pun printables on Pinterest to use on the wall. Since I can't draw very well, I traced over the text and pictures on the back side of the paper using chalk. Then I taped the paper to the wall and went over the image with a pencil on the front side to transfer the picture. Voila!
It was looking a little bare afterwards, so I added another saying -- using freehand this time -- and also incorporated a metal EAT sign and a cute little bucket for holding chalk.
To see the whole process, be sure to head over to my blog.
