Antique Serpentine Dresser

When I found this dresser the finish was in really bad shape and all the original pulls were missing. But, I absolutely loved the serpentine front and couldn't pass it up.

After-the color is Refreshing with a little bit of Vintage from Americana Decor. They sell an ultra matte acrylic paint that acts like chalk paint. I love that.
My husband stripped and sanded the top for me (as a surprise!) and I was so happy to see a beautiful grain to the wood. I gave it one coat of Java Gel from General Finishes and 4 coats of their High Performance top coat in flat.
I filled the old holes and added new hardware.
And lined the drawers with this bold fabric. I love how it turned out. For more pics you can go to my blog post (link below).
