I wanted more hooks to hang my delicate shirts that can't go in the dryer. I searched for methods to do a board and batten wall and chose lath strips with a board to top them off.
I found the studs and used finishing nails to nail the boards into the wall.

I painted the whole room white including the recently popcorn free ceiling.
I bought a set of 8 hooks off of eBay. I made a new white valance.
I repurposed some art work.
The brackets came from Hobby Lobby. I put up a skirted shelf to hide the faucets.
