Easy to Make Bookends Using a Jigsaw

As part of an awesome group of DIY bloggers, we each made a project using a jigsaw. I chose to make these fabulous Cityscape Bookends!
They were so simple - I've included templates for the buildings on my blog. The buildings are cut from 1x6 lumber, and the bookends themselves are 1x3 lumber.
Pocket holes are drilled on the lower bookend piece, and the pieces are joined with glue and pocket hole screws. Holes were also pre-drilled through the bottom of the lower piece to attach the buildings.
I used a flat white spray paint on the bookends, then added felt pads to the bottom. I love them! For a complete how-to including a material list and a cut list, visit the blog!
