DIY Decorative House Number Sign
Don't stop at the mailbox... Extend your outdoor decor theme to a coordinating house number with this quickie curb-appeal craft. From single digit addresses to four numbers or more, there are plaque sizes to fit your needs.
This finished version was made for a charming red-shingled cape cod home. It features the same fabric as the mailbox, and uses a craft store plaque, hardware store numbers, a little bit o' paint and a little bit o' Podge.
A work in progress, this features a larger oval as the base (that can fit up to four numbers) and an airy spacing of the fabric motifs.
Select motifs from the fabric as desired, trim to fit and decoupage into place. Wonder WHY I didn't just use a whole section of fabric? Visit me for more details and step by step instructions.
