MinervasGarden on Feb 17, 2013Yes, my reference, to which I will link here (http://www.monrovia.com/plant-catalog/plants/2212/spring-bouquet-laurustinus.php), lists the cold hardiness zone for Viburnum tinus as 7-11. I do garden in the Pacific Northwest garden zone 8, so cannot guarantee how well it would do in warmer Southern climes. Douglas in his comment above offers insight into the humidity issue commonly found in the South. It does seem to love all the rain we get here, however.
