Bathroom Remodel on a Budget Using Reclaimed Materials

We are slowly bringing our Wisconsin cottage back into the 21st century, and this bathroom remodel was one of the last projects to tackle, and now it's finally done! I started the design with the idea to use antique reclaimed pieces in the space, and just worked from there. Did I mentioned we had a budget? $1,500 to almost completely gut and rebuild it.
Here's what it used to look like. Not much had changed since 1970 (except the shower which was put in about 15 years ago). Everything in this space needed to go. Although I wish the floor tile was salvageable, it was cracked and the subfloor was rotting under the toilet.
We removed the tile and drywall halfway up the wall, because whoever tiled this place back in 1970 tiled around the vanity...
White ceramic subway tiles are very friendly on the budget, and I could splurge just a bit on the mosaic floor tile since I only needed to cover 20 square feet.
There's a hint of my bead board ceiling salvaged from a milk barn in Wisconsin. Fittingly, I used milk paint to paint the boards to bring some color into the room.
We refinished and retrofitted an antique washstand with a quartz top and under mount sink that I found at my local ReStore. Remember that $1,500 budget? We outdid ourselves and remodeled everything for under $1,000!! Come stop by to see exactly how we did it (and to see some full-length photos of the space)!
