From Bright to Soothing....A Dresser Makeover
Taking a bright green dresser with great bones and turned it into Farmhouse Chic!
We found this great dresser with a very bright paint job. It was probably in a baby nursery or little girl's room...and I'm sure it was adorable! However, it was definitely not my style. It's in good condition - just needed a little makeover.
After sanding and staining the top, I painted it with Miss Mustard Seed's Boxwood, but thought it was too dark. So, I went over it with a couple of coats of MMS Mora - using the green as a layer in the lightly chippy goodness it became.
Look at the layers! The green work very well with Mora's blue, green and grey hue.
I finished it off with white wax and new knobs, including these sweet bird pulls on the top drawers. Now waiting for it's forever home in our booth at R&R Antiques. Find out more on the blog!
