Take those ugly TV trays and breathe new life with paint and stenciling

Before

these were painted cream then I used a piece of lace and used turquoise spray paint. Definitely revived that old birch color.

Before and After

These were painted and then I brushed black glaze then stenciled birds.

Did you put a top coat on these. Have you had any problems with the paint coming off where the legs crisscross when using them. We use ours every weekend and am worried the paint will scratch off, but I really want to redo them to match our nautical theme.

omg I was just looking at one of mine that's all water stained and was thinking I should paint this, lol. Thanks for the push, they look really great!
