I am so excited to be part of The Contest again. It is always so great to see everyone transformations. The theme this month is Icing on the Cake and D Lawless Hardware provided all of our hardware. They have beautiful hardware for great prices as well you need to check it out!
This nightstand used to be my daughters but we needed a little more storage since both of my girls share a room now. So we swapped it out for a lingerie chest. I always hated the panels on here, when I first bought it from a thrift store it looked like it was wood, painting it did help bring it back to life, but it was still a little retro for my likings.
These panels were attached to the drawers with screws. Once I got all the screws out the drawer fronts popped right off and to my surprise they were plastic.
I used this scrapper to get under this plastic panels on the side and they just popped right off!
Once the panels were all off I was left with a blank canvas!!
I then added headboard and rope molding to the front
And here she is all done up, it is like a totally new nightstand!
