Hi ! Do you need to keep their paper work for further use , like assignments ?
If that is the case pick up upright magazine holders or make your own from a cereal box ( just cut the top off and cut the front and back evenly at a slight angle and across the one side at the bottom of the angle . Then cover it with wrapping paper, construction paper,
Or paint it . Write each child's name along the side which wasn't cut and keep the side with their name facing
Outward on a shelf .
If you are talking about long term storage use a large plastic tub for each child. Put their name on it and keep in your storage area . That is my Spring project !!!! We just recently moved after
30 years !!! I came across 2 medium sized boxes filled with things I saved from each of my 3 children ! It was a blast to read some of the things they wrote when they were young 😃 classwork , artwork. Letters to Santa & the Easter bunny ... One of the coolest things I found was an assignment my youngest son wrote when he was 11 years old , he had to write 3 wishes he had for the future . The last wish he had was to hope that he had a year to travel wherever he wanted to go . I took a picture of it and sent it to him . He is now 28 years old and has been traveling throughout
Asia for almost a year and a half now !!!
My project will be , to divide up each child's work and put them in separate tubs !!!

DIY Memory Box to Organize Your Child's Papers
I love chalkboard labels and chalk pens for labeling plastic bins.
One of the easiest ways to start off is by getting a bin that will hold a lot of papers. If you have more than one child, get as many bins as you need, and label them with each child’s name. Depending on the size of the bins, you may need a separate one for each school year. Once you have your bins, move on to creating a filing system.
When my kids were younger, I let them decorate their own. Lots of fun and personality with markers, crayons, stickers, etc.
Derinda: so many of these ideas could be adapted for paper...

You could stencil their initials on the bins, too.
