Hi, Add Drink Pulls to your hangers(Doubles the space).............
Raise the hanging rod to the highest height that you can reach to hang up a hanger. (Chances are you can't really access that upper shelf that well now anyway, and stuff just piles up there.) Then install either a second adjustable hanging bar, solid rod, with a wall-to-wall shelf/shelf with cubbies below the lower bar.
