This post just a follow up on our office place. The built in finished completely (finally handles came in) Beautiful so it did worth the wait (black walnut and gold). As I mentioned in my earlier post we had a nook which probably meant for a built in but it was too small to execute it. So after much consideration I just wanted a built in bench with additional storage and pillows. Easy enough and not to blow the budget( purchased wood before the lumber price increase) Kept the same paint color as the built in same top as the desk (white oak) and after getting prices on a custom made bench cushion decided to make it by myself.

Anyway,here are some pictures.

P.S I wanted shiplap to the beck of the wall but it wasn't in the budget and might do it down the road or not:)

Part of the finished office

The built in for the nook

Painting it

Soft close for the storage under the seat

On has the door front on, one is completely empty and one without door front

Needs to paint the wall, we put the white oak top, left the out let there for the next owner just in case.

Little closer look

Just too how it is with the desk

The final product, might put shiplap there one day

this was a beast to make

Another angle

The drawer pulls ,love it. Different and sexy

That looks magazine worthy! Beautiful job. Did you say you made that cushion seat? I need a long one and no idea how to make it. Lol

    Hi Jenny,

I bought those handles on Etsy. My favorite was made out of leather but it wasn’t in the budget. Next time will use those f leather ones for sure.

I have ordered on Etsy and unfortunately takes about a month to get here( from China).

if you need the link let me know.

Thank you for your kind words.
