Make these beautiful cutting boards from scrap wood!!
First cut all you scraps to the same width on the table saw or using a circular saw
Now to the same length using a mitre saw or circular saw
Apply glue to all the pieces and clamp them together
Run glued up board through the planer or using a belt sander to flatten the surface
round edges us
Drill finger hole in one corner
Round edges using a file or disc sander
Drill finger hole in one corner
Round all edges including finger hole with a router table or router (use a round over bit)
Apply mineral oil or other food safe wood finish with a rag and your cutting board is done!
