Need info, how to make a short beach table 30x40

I would like one that my grandkids and I can take to the beach. I thought about pallet wood... or any wood that will not be too heavy for me to carry. It needs short legs. It would be good to have legs that fold up or I can insert at the beach.. This way I can get it into my car. The pix below was from a set up I saw at the beach. The table would never been left outside, so weather is not an issue with the wood.

Pallet wood is not light. If you want something you can carry, consider a folding table made of plastic or resin. Amazon has them.

Check Amazon for personal beach table. One is 16.95 and one for 19.95. Light, portable, no splinters and washable with a hose.
Hello. Here’s a link that could be helpful. Legs could be shortened. It might be easier and more comfortable to purchase a lighter weight one though. The cost of lumber has become extreme.

I wouldn't make it out of pallet wood. It is treated with insecticides and you don't want those near any food. Perhaps make the table part of it out of luan and then treat with a marine poly. Be sure to add straps for carrying.
You could buy a table I seen a small one like the big party tables with the fold up tags there small and narrow perfect for what your looking for try ebay or Amazon it folds and there is a caring handle .
Go down to your local Goodwill and check out the furiture they have. My local Goodwill has 75% off all their furniture once of twice a year. Picked up a solid oak dining room table for under $15.

Don't make one, look for lightweight folding Plastic table for this use!
why not just buy a folding table that is lightweight to carry to the beach, etc? you can usually get them on sale at the end of the summer too...look at link below for only $18.95

I know Amazon sells small collapsible tables if you are interest in going that route and just buying one.
