How to hang veg . hanging basket when there no stud.

I wanted to hang a mesh basket from the ceiling but there is no stud or other support in the ceiling. I have thought of brackets but can't figure out one that is long enough. You talented ladies have helped me in the past and I thank you. Any ideas on how to hang a plant from the ceiling without holes?

Well, thank you for the compliment. I have been called many things in my life, but a talented lady is not one of them. Might I suggest a ceiling plant hook secured with a toggle bolt rated for the weight you want to hold. To get to the right height, use hanging lamp chain link and an S hook. All of which can be found in any hardware store.

You can use a hollow wall anchor.
Yo would need a toggle bolt hook where no stud is. if it's heavy do not use hollow wall anchors. Here is a kit at Walmart for studs and no studs.

Use Molly bolts. Amazon, Walmart Lowes, Home Depot or any hardware store sells them
Toggle bolts will work, just make sure the basket isn’t too heavy. If you use a stud finder, you’ll be able to find a ceiling joist. They’re usually 16” apart on center.
Once you have located the stud, you can drill into it to hang your basket, if the location for your basket is not where you want it to be, but close to it, you can attach an extender to the stud and then your basket to that.

Use command hook made for the weight of the basket and contents. Buy dry wall hangers. They pierce the dry wall. Search on amazon.com. Type in picture hanger super hook.
Hollow wall anchors can help solve your problem.
You can use toggle bolts for as long as the basket is not too heavy.
There is definitely some type of rafter in your ceiling, you may just have difficulty finding it.
As for a way to hang without hitting a rafter, you can get the type wall anchor that has a toggle that will open up on the other side of the sheetrock once it is inserted. If you ever remove it, it makes a very large hole and will have to be patched.
Hi Doris, you can use toggles

Hi,
You can buy brackets from DIY store Garden Centre. If you know of a Blacksmith he could make them for you, or you could make them yourself out of strong timber.
Toggle bolts will work.
