Terra Cotta Pot Crafts

Don't cry over spilled milk, and don't throw away broken terracotta pots! In fact, I had to break a couple to create this craft. Gather artificial eggs, nesting material, and a terracotta pot.
Next, carefully start a hole in your pot, by tapping at the bottom with a small hammer. Don't start up too high like I did with this pot, or the crack will go up to the top, Practice makes perfect.
With a hammer, tap slightly along the bottom, and chip out a hole, enlarging it a little at a time.
Place the eggs in the nesting material. This came from At Home store. You can use a hot glue glue to attach, or just lay the eggs in the nesting material. Since I was turning my on it's side, I attached with glue.
Place the nesting material in the pot, add a little rafia around the top, and a metal bird. (I think another great look would be a bird cut from old sheet music).
I placed my little terracotta pot on top of my book shelf with a white birdhouse and feeder.
