First you need some type of container that will hold water so the wood doesn’t stay saturated with water. Drill some small holes in the bottom for drainage. Use construction adhesive to secure the wood to the container. Put a layer of gravel, pea gravel, or other such item in the bottom then add dirt and your plant(s).
