  • Anna M, great advice on cleaning tub, but everyone needs to remember to flush the tub with fresh water after each bath to remove as much of the bath oils soap etc before it has a chance to dry and stick to the jet pipes. Jet tubs are bio disasters in the waiting. Even with cleaning with strong bleach the bio film remains. Where this becomes an issue is when the tub is running. The bacteria is aerated, carried out by the bubbles where you breath this in. If you do not get the soap, oils, etc out right after you use the tub, this bacteria will not be washed out with a simple fill, run and flush cleaning. But doing what you suggest will help prevent this issue.
