How do I unclog a can of hairspray?

Does anyone have a good method for unclogging a hair spray aerosol can that has clogged up with over half of the volume still left? I have tried soaking it in water and sticking a pin down the small tube with no luck . Any suggestions?

Soak the spray nozzle in nail polish remover for a while.
Can you remove the nozzle by pulling up on it? Get a new can of hair spray, trade nozzles and save for new can

When that happens to me, I use a new spray top. I borrow one from another can, or even buy another hair spray and use the new one then transfer the lid to the original when the old is empty. I save non working one to put on the new bottle so it won't spill etc. until I use it and use the original lid on it
I run water over the nozzle immediately after use and it never clogs.
Soak it in some rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and see if it will unclog.
